The schedule for youth events has been set for the
summer. Although these events are a lot of fun, please
keep in mind that our goal is to create an environment
where we can invite our friends to hang out with us and
get to know us and hopefully Jesus. So here’s the
schedule. Mark your calendars and get ready! For ALL
participating youth, we need updated medical forms.
Print those out here. (Just fill this out once for the
whole summer). Each off-campus event will also have a
parental permission form.
Sunday-Saturday, July 11-17: Mission Trip to
Jeffersonville, GA!!! See details at right
Wednesday, July 21: Baby Showing starring Vincent
Josiah Sanders. More details in the Sunday worship
bulletin.
Sunday-Thursday, July 25-29: VACATION BIBLE
SCHOOL & YOUTH WEEK! We might have some
friends from Jeffersonville joining for the week. VBS will
be in the evening and the Youth Week activities are
still in planning stage, but it tentatively looks like this:
Monday: Stone Mountain, Tuesday: Lawrenceville Co-
Op, Wednesday: Pool Party, Thursday: Movie
Friday-Saturday, July 30-31: END OF SUMMER
LOCK-IN PARTY and WELCOME FOR RISING 6TH
GRADERS!!!! Bring your favorite games and sleeping
bags. We are spending the night at the church and
having a blast! There will be water fun involved, so
make sure to bring towels and change of clothes. Meet
at the church at 7pm Friday and plan to be picked up
by 7am Saturday.
All participants must have updated Medical release
and permission forms on file in order to participate in
off-site activities. These forms are available at the

experiences to connect with God, work for His
Kingdom, grow in faith, and build relationships. Our
Mission Trip includes activities such as helping
needy residents in Jeffersonville, visiting and inviting
unchurched children to Vacation Bible School,
participating in Vacation Bible School, visiting local
landmarks, and help build positive relationships with
the youth of Jeffersonville.
Mission Trip begins with a special Commissioning
Prayer during the 11:00 am Worship service on
Sunday, July 11, 2010.
Mission Trip ends with a closing prayer when we
return to the church at 11:00 am on Saturday, July
17, 2010.
We have 10 youth and 2 adults going. This is a
working mission trip with a focus on Jesus Christ.
Although we will have fun, we will also work hard.
